BTA’s Secure Printing and Inserting module (BSPI) identifies every document. You can track each document from printing though in¬sertion to dispatch, and confirm that a particular document has been prin¬ted and inserted. The barcode (e.g. 2D), which contains the document ID, is printed in the address block for tracking, but can also be used for other purposes, such as Permit mailing in Switzerland and “DV-Freimachung" in Germany.
